Its an interesting year ahead for football...world cup in germany ..shuld be awesome..the final hurrah for a group of players that "this" generation (see i didnt say my) of supporters have been used to seeing..
Zizou...makelele...figo...cannavaro..philip cocu...love all these guys...went online when the final set of tickets were out to see what capability a PIGS would have ..zuck...unless u want to max out those credit cards...the cheapest ticket was some tunisia vs....god knows who...whopping $195 :(.
will watch it on www.sportingstreams.com ...$12 for 2 months.... this website is a cool one for leeches who do not want to pay exorbitant amounts to watch games but want to watch the games anyway... :)
while on footer...one must talk about the boring boring tag that is being attached to the EPL (eng. premier league)... it is fair man..chelsea win matches..boringly too ....with the talent and the money tht they have....they should provide the flair..instead they provide the stubborn defensive backbone of EPL...makes other teams ape them...leads to a boring league.. two years ago..arsenal were playing such silken football that people thought no one could catch them.. but that bubble burst..and people are now onto them for playing weak...ineffective football..hmmm.. i hope the chelsea bubble bursts too...cos in 2 years i see a new arsenal team in the making.. got all the right ingredients ..other than experience. :)
and how can one end a football post without talking about Barcelona and Brazil.... i would love to see a match between these two teams..with ronnie playing for barca....would be an absolute dream match...lets go Barca...u are keeping the interest alive for millions of football fans..with ur brand of football ....
