I hear ya. Here in Calgary, I donot use public transit at all (Phew).
I was in NJ Transit train about a month ago (wasn't carrying the life saving portable device) and had to listen to a girl on a mobile phone bitching about her best friend for an hour...I wished I could develop temporary hearing deficit, I was close to strangling her, thankfully Princeton Jn station came up!
lol.. i got the bitching part in.. only i chose a girl and a guy.. :)
am moving to chicago soon... and its all public transit for me! heaven save me.. if i forget the life savior!! :)
