something really spectacular
I have always had a fascination for rainbows... those beautiful colors.. the allure..the mystique.. long after understanding the physics/ science behind a rainbow.. it still retains some mystery.. dont ask me why...i just cant explain it...
i came across these photographs... and i am absolutely stunned... this is so amazingly calming and scenic!!!
oh..another thing abt double rainbows!!! " Secondary rainbows are caused by a double reflection of sunlight inside the raindrops, and appear at an angle of 50°–53°. As a result of the second reflection, the colours of a secondary rainbow are inverted compared to the primary bow, with blue on the outside and red on the inside. The dark area of unlit sky lying between the primary and secondary bows is called Alexander's band, after Alexander of Aphrodiasis who first described it." (quoted verbatim from wikipedia)

this one i just love!!!! has some special effect... ...
a longer shot of the same scenic view..... winding road. tree with a trunk oh so broad.. rainbow in sight.. a car in full flight.. yuck... bad lines :) but u get the drift right!!

I remember reading that even if two people are looking at the same rainbow, what each person's looking at is unique and different from the other! :)
